# Credit Checkout Extension

If your store is on Shopify Plus, you also have access to the Credit Redemption Checkout Extension. This allows members to redeem and apply their credits directly within the checkout flow, without needing to visit the Member Portal.

Your Inveterate account must be set up to use Discount Codes as credits and not Gift Cards as credits. If you are not sure or would like to switch to Discount Codes, feel free to contact us.

### **How to enable the Credit Checkout Extension**

1. Click on "Settings" in your Shopify admin
2. Click "Checkout"
3. Find your live checkout and click "Customize"
4. Select the Inveterate Credit Redemption Checkout Extension to enable it
5. Click "Save"
