Rebuy
Inveterate's Smart Cart App in Rebuy is an easy way to upsell your program in-cart without any additional code or configuration steps.
Do not modify the configuration of membership tier products directly from the Shopify dashboard, particularly with respect to product tags, pricing variants, and the ability to purchase them without a selling plan. Always use the Inveterate dashboard to make changes to those settings.
Do not pick a spend-based tier product to be advertised on the Rebuy widget.
Choose which tier product will be displayed
Navigate to the theme customization screen in your Shopify store
On the left sidebar, select the App Embeds view
Expand Inveterate's app embed settings
Pick the desired product
Click "Save" to the top right of the screen
If the tier chosen to be displayed on the Rebuy upsell widget has a free trial available, the free trial will be advertised. Otherwise, it will advertise the billing period of the selected tier.
Enable The Smart Cart App
Open the "Rebuy Personalization Engine" app in your Shopify store
Open the Smart Cart menu
Open the Smart Cart where you want to enable Inveterate, or create a new one
Find the Inveterate app and click the toggle to enable it
Use the dropdown to select the in-cart position of the upsell module
Click "Save"
The Inveterate Smart Cart app is now enabled. Next we'll preview it in our store.
Preview The Smart Cart App
Navigate to the Smart Card you just edited, and click "Preview"
Open the cart
You will now see the Inveterate upsell in the location you configured
You can place the widget in 3 areas within the cart.
Above Subtotal will place it above the cart subtotal
Below Subtotal will place it under the subtotal, but above the Checkout button
Below Checkout will place it below the Checkout button
