We add a few different tags to your customers, depending on actions they take (or don't take). These are beneficial to us for many reasons, but they're also beneficial to you for segmentation and analytics purposes within your Shopify Dashboard.
The inveterate tier:XXX
tag is added to every customer when they sign up for a specific tier. In the Shopify member profile, the XXX is replaced with the name of the tier you entered into Inveterate.
The inveterate-tier#XXX
tag is similar to the inveterate tier:XXX
tag. This is added to every customer when they sign up for a specific tier. Instead of using the name of the tier for the tag, Inveterate instead adds the unique back end identifier for the tier.
The inveterate-subscriber
tag is added to every customer who is currently enrolled in your membership program. As long as the customer has an active subscription and their most recent payment was successful, they will have this tag.
The inveterate-cancelled
tag is added to every customer who was once subscribed, but had their subscription cancelled.
The inveterate-cancellation-pending
tag is added to every customer who has decided to cancel their upcoming renewal, but is still able to access their benefits. For example, if you sell a 12 months membership and some cancels in month 6, they will show as cancellation pending for the last 6 months.
The inveterate-billing-failure
tag is added to the member's Shopify profile when the first of three billing attempts fail. This tag will remain on the customer's profile until they are successfully billed, or if they rejoin the membership program. Inveterate will attempt to bill the customer once a day for three days before automatically canceling them from their membership.
